BALTIMORE – March 3, 2015 –INSTANTLABS is presenting its new seafood species identification tools created to improve testing accuracy and combat fraud at the Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America  in Boston March 15-17.

The Baltimore-based manufacturer of the Hunter® Real-Time PCR System also offers species verification and detection for pork and horse in addition to a full array of AOAC-certified tests for food-borne pathogens.

InstantLabs’ release of the InstantID™ test for Atlantic Blue Crab is the first of several seafood verification tests co-developed by InstantLabs and the University of Guelph.  Additional tests for Atlantic Salmon, Coho Salmon, Catfish and others will be available soon.
